Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Gulpse (the “Game”) handles information when you play on iPhone or contact us for support.

1. Information we process

Gulpse does not require an account and does not ask for your name, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information.

To understand installs, retention, and level activity, the Game uses Adjust analytics. Adjust may process limited device and technical information, such as the Identifier for Vendor (IDFV), IP address, device model, operating-system and app version, session and install information, and analytics events such as first open, app open, level entered, cumulative gameplay duration, and repeated level entries.

Adjust is configured not to collect Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). On iOS, Gulpse asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before enabling Meta advertising measurement. If you do not allow tracking, the Meta SDK remains disabled and Gulpse does not send Meta App Events. Adjust may continue to process the limited, non-tracking analytics information described above.

2. Meta App Events

We use the Meta SDK for App Events, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates ("Meta"), to measure app installations and engagement, understand advertising and conversion performance, and improve Gulpse and our marketing. The Game does not contain in-app advertising; this integration measures advertising that may lead people to install or use the Game.

When you install, open, resume, or use Gulpse, the SDK may automatically send Meta app-install, activation, and session events together with related technical information. We also send limited gameplay events, including a game_open event and alevel_enter event with information such as the level number, cumulative gameplay duration, and an event-routing identifier.

Information processed through this integration may include event names and timestamps, app and SDK versions, device model, operating-system information, language or time-zone information, the IP address used to communicate with Meta, device-scoped or app-scoped identifiers generated or processed by the SDK, and limited diagnostic or crash information generated by the SDK. Meta may associate some of this information with a device or with other information it holds and may use it for measurement, analytics, app functionality and security, conversion measurement, and advertising-related purposes.

The Meta SDK is initialized only after you allow tracking. If you allow tracking, Meta may access IDFA and use the information described above for advertising measurement in accordance with its terms and your Meta settings. We limit event-data use where supported. We do not use Facebook Login or Meta sharing features, and we do not intentionally send Meta your name, email address, phone number, payment information, precise location, contacts, photos, or the contents of communications through this integration.

3. How information is used

  • Measure installs, sessions, and player retention
  • Understand level entry, repeat activity, and cumulative gameplay duration
  • Measure advertising conversions and campaign performance
  • Maintain the reliability, security, and integrity of our analytics integrations

We do not sell personal information.

4. Service providers and disclosure

Adjust processes analytics information on our behalf. Its handling of information is also governed by the Adjust Privacy Policy.

Meta receives the limited App Events and technical information described above to provide analytics, conversion measurement, and advertising-related services. Meta handles this information under the Meta Privacy Policy and the Meta Business Tools Terms.

We disclose information to these providers only for the purposes described in this policy. Their processing, retention, combination of information, and privacy controls are also governed by their own terms and policies.

5. Data retention and security

Analytics information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and according to our analytics configuration and service provider terms. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Children’s privacy

Gulpse is a general-audience puzzle game. It does not request age, account, or contact details in the Game. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address the request.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including access, deletion, correction, or objection. Email us with your request. You can change the tracking permission for Gulpse in iPhone Settings. Disabling permission prevents future Meta App Events from being sent. You may also limit network access for the Game through your device settings; core gameplay remains available offline.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game or legal requirements change. The new version will appear on this page with a revised date.
